Haku review 2026: honest verdict on the signal intelligence platform.
This review is written by the founder of Haku. That means it is not independent — but it also means it is more specific and more honest about limitations than anything a third party would write without using the product. Here is what Haku actually does, who it is for, what the results look like, and where it is not yet the answer.
This review is written by Cameron Evans, Founder and CEO of Haku Labs Ltd. It is not an independent third-party review. Where possible, results cited are from real customer data. Limitations described are genuine product limitations as of June 2026.
What Haku is — and what it is not
Haku is a B2B sales intelligence platform. It is not a contact database. It is not a sequencing tool. It is the intelligence layer that sits between your ICP definition and your outreach execution — monitoring target accounts for buying signals, enriching contacts through waterfall enrichment across 17+ providers, and delivering a pre-built, signal-qualified prospect list to your reps every morning.
The distinction matters because most teams searching for a tool like Haku are coming from Apollo, Clay, Cognism, or some combination of all three. They have contact data. What they are missing is the intelligence that tells them which contacts to reach out to today — and why today is the right moment. That is the specific problem Haku was built to solve.
How it works — the three layers
Signal monitoring. Haku monitors every account in your target market continuously for buying triggers — funding rounds, new VP or CRO hires, headcount growth across relevant functions, technology changes, job postings for roles that indicate an active investment in the problem you solve, and LinkedIn signals. When a trigger fires that matches your ICP model, the account surfaces immediately. The rep sees the account, the signal, and the reason to reach out — without having done any research to find it.
Waterfall enrichment. When an account surfaces, Haku enriches the right contact through sequential queries across 17+ data providers — finding the email address through provider 1, validating it, falling through to provider 2 if it fails, and so on until a verified contact is found or the waterfall is exhausted. Every email is validated through live SMTP checks at the point of outreach — not months earlier when some database ingested the record. The target bounce rate is below 3%. Most client accounts run below 1.5%.
Daily prospect list. The output is a pre-built list delivered to the rep every morning — accounts with verified contacts, the specific signal that triggered each account, and the context the rep needs to write the first line of the email. No research. No list building. No data validation. The rep opens the briefing and starts reaching out.

The honest verdict
Haku is not the right answer for every outbound team. It is the right answer for teams that have already solved sequencing and deliverability infrastructure, understand that their real problem is the intelligence layer — which accounts to contact, when, and why — and are frustrated by the gap between what static databases tell them and what their pipeline results are showing.
For those teams, the impact is immediate and specific. Reps start the day with a pre-built list rather than a blank spreadsheet. Bounce rates drop below 2%. Reply rates improve because outreach arrives during genuine buying windows rather than at arbitrary moments. And the 2 to 4 hours previously consumed by research and list building return to conversations — which is the only place they were ever going to generate pipeline.
If that is your situation, Haku is worth a 30-minute conversation. If it is not — if your primary problem is call volume, or self-serve data access, or GDPR-compliant phone data for UK cold calling — there are better options, several of which we have written about honestly on this blog.
